Guilt-Free Pancake Recipe–No Wheat, Burns Fat

Joel and Josh over at BioTrust passed along this recipe. Delicious pancakes without a BILLION carbs–and no wheat gluten or guilt. You will love these.…

No-Wheat High-Protein Pancakes

1/3 cup fat-free whipped cottage cheese

1/4 cup egg whites

2.5 scoops of Vanilla BioTrust Low Carb

1 tablespoon sugar-free stevia-sweetened syrup

Combine the cottage cheese, egg whites, and protein powder in a bowl. Blend with a hand-held mixer for best results.

Pour the batter into a pan; cook each side approximately 2 minutes.

Top with sugar-free syrup and enjoy. (If it’s you’re higher-carb Victory day, go for the maple syrup.)

If you have another protein powder, you can try that instead. Just make sure you use about 45 grams of powder.

The above recipe makes 3 pancakes for a total of 45 delicious grams of PROTEIN. How important is protein to you? Consider this quote (from the November/December ’10 Well Being Journal)…

“John Reed, M.D., Ph.D., president of the Burnham Institute for Medical Research, has shown that a healthy human body replaces more than 1 million cells every second and that it’s quite possible to replace the entire body every year with fresh cells.”

Being that protein is the building blocks of your cells, you need plenty to be sure you rebuild healthy, resilient cells to fight off disease and AGING.

Remember, collagen in your skin IS protein, so it help fight wrinkles too.

Train smart, be well, live long.

I downloaded Steve and Becky’s Old School and something else $15 online…I have my Visa recepits but can’t find them on my computer. Is there a way I can get a hard copy or try to download it and save it somewhere that I can find it on my computer? I thought if I saved to Favorites it would work but now I can’t find it and would love to use what I bought. Please let me know since I’ve paid for it how I can get the information so I can use it. Is there a hard bound book available since I understand that better???
